THUREEYAM VACHO MANUSHYAVADANTHI

I am again forced to note some thing on THUREEYAM MUSIC FEST, since there are a number of visitors on my blog page which I wrote last year on Thureeyam.

Well Music lovers…………… what a time the music lovers in Payyannur is having !!! Simply exciting.Unprecedented heavy down pour during this year along with that we have the rain of music for three weeks.Great Mukundan from Mayyazhitheeram  has inaugurated the fest on 7^th of July and the programme will continue upto 27^th of this month.Many legends of music world will be performing their godly talents in front of the knowledgeable crowd in Ayodhya Auditorium near Sree Subrahmany Swamy Temple.

Bhagavathar recite keerthanam with raga and bhava and leave it to melam,he encourage them,they looks as though they are fighting neck and neck and bhagavathar  goes on encouraging them,in between crowd get excited and they too give up a  gentle clap and watch as though some thing special is going to happen soon, holding their breath . In the end bhagavatar again join the party and a big roar of crowd fill the hall. Men like me who have meager knowledge of music too get excited and we follow the experts in the hall for hand clapping.

One cannot forget the tremendous effort behind this for organizing this music extravaganza,thanks to the organizers Anandabahavanam Pothangandam. Timing of the program me is spot on.The great artists who had come across years of sadhana and sadhaka come back to back and what a time the music lovers are having.Just a glimpse of these artists will have a positive impact on the viewers.HARIPRASAD CHAURASYA,KADRI GOPINATH,RAMESH NARAYAN,T N KRISHNAN,KUDAMALUR JANARDANAN all have programme during this period.

But remember if u want to watch the programme leave the most irritating thing we are carrying along with us ie Mobile Phone in home.

Entrance to the hall is controlled by Pass.Of course it is costly but worthy.
