Today(22nd April) world earth day evokes many thoughts into my mind. Earth is one among the many planets revolve around sun.It is unique for the presence of life.The earth is exceptionally fabricated to occupy the living beings. Very well balnced in itself.It take care of the living beings almost like mother TAKES CARE OF HER CHILDREN.
Ancient teachings teach us to touch the earth first with our hand and beg excuse for stepping on it IN THE MORNING

Such is the importance our ancestors had given to the earth.
Sarwam sahayami,for the benefit of her children mother earth do a lot of things. With her magnetic attraction she keep her children close to her lap, not letting them scattered around. It disintegrates all the organic waste put on her and keeps her surface fertile for the growth of GREEN vegetation.She has kept sweet water inside her for the survival of her children. She fixes all the plants on her body.Plants are in itself is living thing and it is the base for the survival of all animals. There is a saying that kshamaya dharithri.She forgives her children like a mother who forgives her children even if they commit any mistakes.
But are we loyal to the mother earth. The water level in the earth has come down, because of excess drawal of ground water. The tree are cut, the tree roots which beholds surface earth from being carried away. The soil carried away to rivers and causes flood. Chemical manure is used on earth which yield only temporary result. In the long run natural fertility of the earth comes down. Inorganic wastes like plastic are dumped into the earth and the earth fail to disintegrate the plastics which result in forming unwanted coating on the earth, which blocks the seeping in of the water . It can be said that the natural equilibrium is tilted and it is high time that the patience of the mother earth is lost in front of arrogant human being.
Plant as much trees as possible, don’t cut the trees down-Help to grow green vegetation, trees helps to fix the soil and soil erosion can be curbed.
Use organic manure only and use rotation crops in a field instead of using the same crops.
Avoid plastic items to save earth from its dangerous effects.
Make water pits, mud fense, and suitable modifications on the sloppy fields to prevent soil erosion and water conservation.
Conservation of water is all the more important. Rightly this year’s world earth day has put an emphasis on the water conservation. Now instead of the fact that two third of the earth is water. Still more than two third of our earth population feel the scarcity of drinking water. And the graph is growing vertically to a dangerous mark. Unless we adopt measures for the conservation of water, it may not be long before we are put in such a dangerous situation when people,districts,states,nations compete for drinking water. We shouldn’t forget the already existing fight for Cauvery water between Kerala and Tamilnadu.Rain Water Systems should be erected.Roof water harvesting should be made strict. Water should not be wasted and as far as possible recycling measures should be adopted.
O MOTHER EARTH-ON BEHALF OF ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD I BEG YOUR PARDONE FOR ALL THE MISCHIVES WE COMMIT TOWARDS YOU.MAY YOU PLEASE GUIDE US AND SHOW US THE RIGHT WAY TO RECOGNISE THE NEED TO CONSERVE NATURE.

Condolance---- Smt K S Chitra

My heart felt condalance to the nightingale of Kerala Smt K S Chitra,on the sad demise of her eight year old child.Blessed with a child after fifteen years of marriage.But that didnt last long.
The celebrity play back singer who is not even able to withstand the departure of contestants from idea star singer.Quet often we see her with full of tears in the programme.Only recently out of this programme did I happend to see her close in the.She is innocent ,loving ,devoted and have respect to all Gurus and elders.Her caring nature towards the contestants of the programme reveals how good she could be in her real life.
On hearing the news I was taken aback.We can say this may be because of the result of her argitha or sanchitha Karma.
She evoked devotion into number of Keralites.Her beautiful melodious voice soothed the greivances of number of people.I pray to god to give her streangth to withstand this unfortunate incident.May her voice spread all over the world to prise the almighty god and bring nobleness in the people.

Golden Temple

Golden Temple at Kushalnagar

We have been to Kushalnagar for a holiday trip with our office staff.Amazing view of the Budha dharma followers and the buildings coated with gold realy enthralled us.The residents were tibatians dressed as saints with yellowish and saffron attire. They are stout. Only male members are seen.Occassionally we had seen some young beautiful lady tibatians and old women. There were so many tourists to see the temple and have shopping of the special items such as cotton bags, bamboo made items and clothes.
The prayer hall is wide and spacious and one can sit on the floor and watch the amazing statues of Lord Budha, Lord Amitayus and Guru Rimboche.The statues have a height of 60 feet. Sri Buddha was the founder of Buddha Religion.Ahimsa is the mantra of Budha.Guru Rimboche is responsible to remove all evils and obstacles for the flourish of the Religion. Lord Amitayus is the god to extend the death of a person by blessing ‘Deerghayu’ . Seeing these statues ,venerating them circumambulating and making offerings, generates faith wisdom,peace,loving kindness and compassion in our minds and and cleanses unwholesome thoughts and actions.
We were lucky to have the sight of Prayer, unique in nature with various Drums and Thalas, and offerings. This place is situated at about 30 KM from Mercara on the side of Mysore Highway. Some photos are uploaded for the viewers.

Natures wonder-Irpu waterfalls
We were being to Irpu waterfalls on the way to Kushalnagar from our office in Vellamunda.Situated at about 30 KM from Manathavady.This is a beautiful water fall,bringing great entertainment for the visitors.We had to walk 700Metre upward to reach the site.Here the Laxmanathirtha river tumble from about 52 metre height.Laxmanathirtha river later join the Ramathirtha river which ultimately join the Cauvery river.This is a place were we can see variety of butterflies.They survive because of the freedom they get from the human being thanks for the strict vigilance from the authorities.Posters and display boards are seen every knick and corner to remind about our commitment towards the protection of environment

FANTASTIC WIN...................

India has done it .They are showing the signs of achieving the top position in world cricket right from their disastrous departure in the preliminary round in the 2007 world cup. They won the twenty 20 world cup, became number one in test cricket, and became number two in one day ranking. They started the W C campaign as hot favourites and lived up to the expectations. As expected it was the strong batting line up of India that had done the trick. Indian batting was lead by Master Batsman Sachin Tendulkar,who is having an amazing run of form during the last couple of years, breaking records after records. This could probably because now Sachin could play without any burden of carrying the responsibility of the all team. Now we have so many talented players around him and he is now delivering the best in him.Sehwag has also done well in the WC although much was expected by him after his scintillating performance in the inaugural match against Bangla.He just couldn’t repeat that performance .But he could give India a confident start in almost all the games he played but for the final match.Gautham Gambhir proved once again what he is for. He was instrumental in building the innings in all the three knock out stage matches finishing with a glorious display in the finals. We can see the future captain in Gambhir.But the way in which he was dismissed in those three innings showed that he is vulnerable to pressure. Against Australia he was faced with three run out chances in 4 balls and perished in the third attempt. Against Pak he was stumped yielding to the pressure when he was going well. In the final he put India under little bit of Pressure after being bowled playing a reckless shot on 97.What a tremendous prospect we found in Kohli.The ease with which he build the innings and the array of strokes he has in his armoury was simply superb. He is young ,energetic and enigmatic. Lot can be expected from him in future.Ryna is another player who proved his worth. Although came into the team late, he played couple of knock that really set the fate of India in the world cup. He still have to improve playing in foreign pitches.Zaheer Khan as Sunil Gavaskar referred was the unsung hero of India in WC.Highest wicket taker in the tournament. Each time Dhoni tossed the ball the Zaheer at the time of crisis he produced break through. Remember he was the only Indian bowler who was in form. He had made up to his mistakes he done in the 2003 WC with his initial over costing 16 runs. That really cost us the match allowing Australia to get a commanding total. His bowing against England,Pakistan,Australia and Srilanka was outstanding.Dhoni depended him too much because Captain had no other option.Perfomance was only average or not upto the level in respect of Bajji,Patan,Piyush,Aswin,Munaf,Sreesanth. It was the Captain cool who emerged heroic amongst seekers of blood of the captain,who kept on criticising him throughout the tournament. He was criticised for selecting Piyush a head of Aswin and Sreesanth and for the inclusion of Munaf and Nehra in the side.Above all on his poor form with the bat.He could silence his critics by establishing the selection of team members in each match. Piyush put up a magnificent performance against Australia in the practise game.As a captain Dhoni was expecting Piyush to perfome against Australia,England,Newzealand,South frica and West Indies because these teams never ever been comfortable against legspin.But unfortunately this didn’t work and Piyush had to be dropped from the scquad.Keralites were hurt by the fact that Sreesanth was not playing. But Sree was given chance in the first and last match and proved very costly and that turned out to be the worst ever performance by Sree in his career.As a batsman Dhoni prepared to take responsibility and was cotiouss on occasions. On many occasions he ran out of partners in the middle of the innings. In the final match he bravely put himself up the order and played the innings any captain in the history of WC desired to have played in the final match. He sailed the ship to the coast safely and finished the tournament with six. The site of seeing the ball sailing over the boundary will last in the heart of every Indian for a long time. The shot was typical Dhoni shot.Ball was on the slot and the bottom hand came into play Bang.....the ball disappeared in the Gallery and the celebration began. It would be unfair to say nothing regarding Yuvi.Man of the tournament. Angry young man has done it again. In Yuvi case it is not his effort but the immense talent the man has in him that has helped him.I think he had not groomed his talent properly.Alround performance from Yuvi with the bat,ball and on the feild was superb.He emerged each time as a saviour on many occasion.A partnership,a wicket a magnificent save this was all that India expecting of this man .He delivered it not once not twice but many many times.4 man of the match awards, and good performances on almost all the occasions. Victory is always is delightful.Attaining success is easy but what is difficult is to maintain the winning stream. Let us hope that this Indian team will achieve greater heights.
